 Spiritualitea: The Shape of Empathy
A monthly soul circle in Bath Township
Sunday, August 31 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Bath Township, OH | $17
Spiritualitea is a monthly gathering held in The Cottage in Bath.
We meet with tea, stillness, and an open heart.
This month, we’ll explore the quiet but vital relationship between empathy and boundaries.
What does it mean to truly empathize?
When does empathy nourish connection?
When does it leave us feeling unmoored or overwhelmed?
Together, we’ll reflect on stories, short readings, and the many ways empathy takes shape in our relationships, roles, and inner world. We’ll also consider the work of deeper thinkers—like psychologist Paul Bloom—who question whether empathy is always helpful.
This session is especially for those who feel deeply, who listen well, and who sometimes forget where they end and others begin.
We’ll hold space for grounded reflection, honesty, and shared insight.
We close with a gentle return.
This circle is small and sacred. It invites your full presence.
